An Cùrsa Comais is an in­ten­sive lan­guage learn­ing course de­signed for in­ter­me­di­ate level learn­ers whose aim is flu­ency in the lan­guage. The ma­jor fo­cus is on lan­guage skills, both speak­ing and writ­ing, but other sub­jects will be in­tro­duced as the course pro­gresses. Stu­dents on An Cùrsa Comais un­der­take a three week work place­ment within a Gaelic set­ting as part of the Greis-gnìomhachais mod­ule. The course is a one year full-time course at the Col­lege that is the equiv­a­lent to An Cùrsa Ad­har­tais that is taught over 2 years long dis­tance. If stu­dents suc­cess­fully com­plete the Cert HE Cùrsa Comais they have the op­por­tu­nity to progress to the sec­ond year of the de­gree pro­gramme.
