Tack­ling in­equal­i­ties across Lochaber

KINLOCHLEVEN is tak­ing ac­tion to re­duce in­equal­i­ties by ask­ing the com­mu­nity three ques­tions.

Kinlochleven Ac­tion Group is part of the newly-formed Lochaber Com­mu­nity Part­ner­ship, which aims to tackle in­equal­i­ties and dis­ad­van­tage across Lochaber.

Now the com­mu­nity is be­ing asked: What do you like about living in Kinlochleven? What could be bet­ter? What is the first achiev­able thing we could do as part­ners to make it hap­pen?

Marie Law, district man­ager Lochaber, said: ‘ We are invit­ing res­i­dents to come along to Kinlochleven Com­mu­nity Trust’s open day at the trust of­fice on Satur­day June 24 from 11am to 2.30pm to meet us in per­son and help de­cide.’

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from the part­ner­ship will be in Mor­risons su­per­mar­ket, Fort William, to­mor­row (Fri­day June 9), be­tween 1pm and 3pm, ask­ing res­i­dents what mat­ters to them.
