STAFF and volunteers from Lochaber Sensory Care (LSC) for sight and hearing will be visiting Ardnamurchan on June 12. The LSC representatives will be based in Acharacle Medical Practice between 10.30am and 11.30am, and at Dail Mhor care homes in Strontian from 12.20pm to 1.30pm. At both venues they will offer help and advice to those with a hearing or sight loss. The team members will also re-tube and maintain NHS hearing aids, and supply NHS batteries. CROILEAGAN Grianach is hosting a fashion show on June 22. Funds will be put back into the nursery. The show starts at 6.30pm in M&Co at High Street, Fort William. ON SATURDAY June 24 a public meeting will be held between 3pm and 4.30pm at the Four Seasons Bistro, the Inchree Centre in Onich, chaired by Councillor Andrew Baxter. This will be to have an open discussion about two options for the Nether Lochaber community to acquire buildings and an area of woodland from the Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS), and agricultural fields owned by Lochaber Housing Association. THE Kilmallie Community Centre is hosting another community gardens clean-up. The group is calling for gardeners and volunteers to help with the restoration of the site.
