Fairy Pools top picnic spot poll
THE WORLD-FAMOUS Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye have been declared the best spot for a picnic in Scotland.
The iconic tourist destination in Glenbrittle is a series of waterfalls and pools which attract sightseers from all over the world all year round.
Its ‘outstanding natural beauty as well as historical significance’ made the site a winner in National Picnic Week.
The organisation said it was chosen for its ‘ breath-taking fantastical views’.
