LISMORE Primary School has been given a glowing report following a government inspection.
PUPILS and staff of Lismore Primary are delighted with the school’s inspection report which was published following the full inspection in early May.
The inspection team highlighted many strengths, including the ‘enterprising children who are developing relevant skills for learning, life and work’, ‘the staff’s support and passion for children’s learning and achievements’ and ‘parents and partners whose support enhances children’s learning’.
The report also praised ‘the school’s unique and supportive role in the island community’ and ‘ the head teacher’s leadership of children’s learning’.
The school was graded as ‘very good’ in all four of the assessed quality indicators and the prefives unit achieved four grades of ‘good’.
Head teacher Catherine Davies said: ‘ This report is a reflection of the hard work and support of everybody, both in the school and in the community.’
