Colonsay Get away from it all

The Oban Times - - Feature -

Colonsay may be small, but there is plenty to distinguish this island, from its beautiful beaches and ancient places of worship, to the community spirit which ensures that, rain or shine, there is always something going on. There is wildlife to appreciate wherever you look, whether it’s out to sea to make eye contact with a friendly seal, or above, spying eagles or the rare black-legged kittiwake. Climbing peaks remains a popular activity among visitors to Colonsay, or stretch your legs on one of the island’s sandy beaches, such as Kiloran Bay, or with a round at the 18-hole golf course.
