Tesco event gives boost to Oban Hospice

The Friends of Oban Hospice is the fundraising arm of the organisation and two of them – Anne May and Faye MacPhee – were in Tesco car park last weekend where handbags, scarves and jewellery were being sold to raise money. Anne and Faye were part of a team of volunteers on the stall throughout the day last Saturday. Oban Hospice is shortly to operate from its own premises in Stevenson Street which will be known as the Dove Centre.
