Solicitors made partners at Lochaber law firm
A LOCHABER law firm has promoted two of its solicitors to partners.
Christine MacKay joined MacPhee & Partners in 2014, returning to her Highland roots and bringing with her more than 20 years’ experience in the legal profession.
A former equity partner of a central belt firm, Christine heads up the firm’s commercial department and has been involved in high value and high profile transactions.
Claire Bamber, who originally hails from Onich, has worked for MacPhee & Partners for more than 13 years. She qualified as a solicitor in March 2015, winning Trainee Solicitor of the Year at the Scottish Law Awards.
Claire deals with all the firm’s sheriff court work in Fort William and heads up its family law team. She also deals with guardianship applications and residential tenancies.
Managing partner Duncan MacPhee said: ‘ We are delighted to welcome Claire and Christine to the partnership. It is a reflection of their commitment to the firm and of their sound knowledge and specialist experience in their respective areas of law.’
