GRAHAM MacColl won the handicap championship at Glencruitten on Saturday with a score after four rounds of 260. Alan Jamieson was second with a score of 261.
After two rounds of the club championship Alan McKie leads with scores of 70, 65 = 135, followed by Phillip Murphy with scores of 67, 69 = 136.
Graham MacColl leads the George Smith Trophy with net scores of 65, 61 = 126, Donald McGill in second place with scores of 59, 68 = 127.
The third round of the Championship and George Smith Trophy take place on Saturday, with the final round of the Championship on Sunday.

THE ANNUAL tradition of Lady Captain’s Day at Dalmally Golf Club upheld its excellent reputation. The weather was kind. The course, after a month of the worst weather on record for nearly 70 years, was in eminently-playable condition thanks to the efforts of greenkeeper, Angus MacGillivray.
From a field of some 20 players, the winners of the Stableford Pairs were Ann Hay and Maud Marshall on 38 pts with Sheila Tollan and June Sutherland on 29 pts.
The hospitality at a clubhouse dinner afterwards was, as ever, more than convivial. Players were joined by social members and friends who raised £ 305 for LUPUS UK (www.lupusuk. org.uk), a charity close to the heart of two members whose family have been affected by this debilitating condition.
