Man de­nies dis­or­derly charges

A 23-YEAR- OLD man has been charged with be­hav­ing in a dis­or­derly man­ner af­ter he ex­posed him­self to three young boys.

Vadimis Pro­hor­vos of 44 Carn Dearg Road, Clag­gan, Fort Wil­liam, ap­peared from cus­tody at the town’s sher­iff court on Wed­nes­day July 19, where he pled not guilty to the charge.

Pro­hor­vos is said to have com­mit­ted the of­fence at the Roar­ing Mill, Glen Nevis, Clag­gan Road - a pop­u­lar swim­ming spot - on July 18 2017.

He is ac­cused of ex­pos­ing his pri­vate parts to boys ages 11, 12 and 13, tak­ing hold of one, hug­ging him and re­fus­ing to let go. He is then said to have fol­lowed them and loi­tered in the area they had taken refuge, and com­mit­ted a breach of the peace, all while on bail.

Sher­iff Eilidh MacDon­ald granted Pro­hor­vos bail ad­ding these are ‘ very se­ri­ous al­le­ga­tions which have been made against you’.

His trial was set for Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 13.
