Volunteers clear up Soroba
ON ONE of the wettest Saturdays in July, the volunteers clearing the site at Soroba Community Centre were not deterred for a moment in getting out and about and continuing to improve the area. Spurred on by some homemade soup and sandwiches, volunteers from around the area including a posse from the Scottish Association from Marine Science based at Dunstaffnage.
The site is soon to be Oban’s only community centre for use by the whole community.
