Vol­un­teers clear up Soroba

ON ONE of the wettest Satur­days in July, the vol­un­teers clear­ing the site at Soroba Com­mu­nity Cen­tre were not de­terred for a mo­ment in get­ting out and about and con­tin­u­ing to im­prove the area. Spurred on by some home­made soup and sand­wiches, vol­un­teers from around the area in­clud­ing a posse from the Scot­tish As­so­ci­a­tion from Ma­rine Sci­ence based at Dun­staffnage.

The site is soon to be Oban’s only com­mu­nity cen­tre for use by the whole com­mu­nity.
