Pupils design tanker to win trip to safari park
Rockfield Primary School pupils have designed an Oilfast tanker in a bid to win an educational trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park.
The children will be going head to head with Caol Primary School as well as their fellow pupils in the competition, which is run by the heating oil supplier.
The selected entry will win a trip for their whole class.
As well this, each child has been gifted an Oilfast hi-vis vest to help keep them safe when they walk to school.
Daile Beattie, who is Oilfast’s area director for Oban, said: ‘First and foremost, it’s about the health and safety – so they can wear it in the mornings.’
The winning picture will be chosen by councillor for Oban South and the Isles, Roddy McCuish.
