Site is avail­able at Oban Air­port

A site next to Oban Air­port has been made avail­able for de­vel­op­ment.

Ar­gyll and Bute Coun­cil is mak­ing a fi­nal call for of­fers from part­ners with the vision to help as­sist in de­vel­op­ing this strate­gic site to its full po­ten­tial. The clos­ing date for of­fers is noon on November 23.

The 3.5-hectare site, ear­marked for busi­ness and in­dus­try, is six miles north of Oban and sits ad­ja­cent to the air­port and the A828.

This flex­i­ble lo­ca­tion could be used for a range of ac­tiv­i­ties, sub­ject to ap­pro­pri­ate per­mis­sions and a mas­ter­plan, such as of­fice space, stor­age and dis­tri­bu­tion or air­port-re­lated use.

Key to the de­vel­op­ment is the abil­ity to co-in­vest in in­fra­struc­ture and de­vel­op­ment of this im­por­tant site which will play a vi­tal part in the econ­omy of Oban, Lorn and the Isles as well as the wider Ar­gyll and Bute.
