PREGNANT women who eat a lot of liquorice may be harming their child’s intelligence. Scientists in Helsinki found mums-to-be who scoff more than 250g a week have kids seven IQ points lower than non-liquorice munchers. Still, takes all sorts. SO,SO Sir Tom Jones, 76, is dating Elvis Presley’sPr former wife Priscilla.

The Welsh singer was bereft when hi his wife of 59 years, Linda, died but he found real support in Priscilla, 71.

A pal says they are “courting, but it’ it’s early days”. Tom adds: “She’s a lo lovely lady and w we do enjoy ni nights out toge gether.

Great news. Widows and widowers often findin happiness w with old friends... it’s not unusual.

But their romance is bound to be sc scrutinised by folk with suspicious m minds or wooden hearts.

So I reckon we should have a little le less conversation about the big hunk o’ love and his new sex bomb until th they’re all hooked up.

Thank you very much.
