Train killing man held

A MAN was charged with aggravated murder yesterday after the fatal stabbing of two train passengers in a row over the harrassment of Muslims.

Police say they arrested Jeremy Christian, 35, after he got off the train in Portland, Oregon, US, on Friday afternoon.

The victims were said to have intervened when two women were allegedly being racially abused.

Campaigners blame a hike in anti-Muslim attacks on President Trump’s focus on immigrants.
