Cheryl gifts kids £500k
SINGER Cheryl’s charity has donated £500,000 to the Prince’s Trust to help disadvantaged kids.
The money from Cheryl’s Trust will support the funding of a new state-of-the-art centre in her home city of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Cheryl, 33, had her first baby, a boy called Bear, in March with One Direction singer Liam Payne, 23.
She set up the charity in 2011 to help to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged youngsters in the North East.
Earlier this year she announced she had joined forces with the Prince’s Trust to open the centre.
It was not known until now how much money Cheryl had contributed.
She said: “I am incredibly proud to call Newcastle my home town. It’s important to do my bit to help young people in the area.”
