Nurses £2k parking row
A TOP hospital has warned it faces a “mass exodus” of staff because there aren’t enough parking spaces.
Unions say nurses at the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, are facing fines because of problems getting parking permits and a lack of spaces. Some are forced to park in visitor parking bays, which can cost up to almost £2,000 a year.
Victoria Couling, of the Royal College of Nursing said: “It’s not fair for staff facing a 12-hour shift to be worrying about parking.”
