TREVOR’S wife Luba says the Ministry of Defence’s treatment of her husband and other PTSD veterans is disgraceful.

Speaking of the day they were given 28 days to leave their Army house, Luba said: “I was looking after Trevor, my son and also having to work.

“The pressure was huge. I thought to myself, is this how the Government treats soldiers who risked their lives fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan? It was disgusting. Luba added: “If Trevor did not have such a strong family he would have fallen to pieces. The MoD’s attitude is disgraceful.”

An MoD spokesman said yesterday: “We recognise that a small number of veterans struggle, and that is why we work across Government and with charity partners to provide a comprehensive package of support.”
