7 held over fire deaths
SEVEN boys have been arrested on suspicion of starting a fire at an Islamic boarding school in Malaysia that killed 23 people.
The boys, aged 11 to 18, allegedly sparked the blaze after students teased them.
Speaking i n Kuala Lumpur, police chief Amar Singh said six of the boys held had tested positive for drugs but no further details were given.
Two adults and 21 teenagers died in the blaze. Officials said the school had no fire safety permit.
