Teen helps cancer girl
A SCHOOLGIRL cancer survivor has helped raise £280,000 to pay for a fellow child patient to go to the US for treatment.
Libby Jones, 13, got pals at school to wear colourful clothes and give £1 so Mia Chambers, five, could have neuroblastoma therapy.
The idea spread around Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, where Libby and Mia live, and thousands of people pitched in.
Mia’s dad Josh, 28, who is with his daughter in Michigan, said: “Libby made it all happen.”
