School run by boy, 15
A BOY aged 15 was caught behind the wheel on the school run with his fouryear-old sister and dad, in a car which had false plates.
Officers pulled the Ford Focus over after spotting no one had a seatbelt on.
Staffordshire Police had been running a road safety operation around a primary school in Stoke on Friday.
They said: “It focused on children who were not correctly restrained when being taken to Mill Hill Academy.”
The teenager, who cannot be named, was reported for driving without a licence and insurance, his dad for allowing his son to do so.
Academy head Michaela Moore welcomed the police action “as pupils’ safety is of utmost importance”.
