Dangers of stolen goat
THIEVES who stole 11 goats could be poisoned if they eat them, their owner has warned.
The female goats had been treated with chemicals to kill skin parasites before they vanished from a field.
Owner Lucy Ostin, 47, said: “I’m extremely upset about losing them, but I’m worried they could end up in the food chain.”
Mrs Ostin, of Lyng, Norfolk, said anyone eating the goats could suffer swollen l ymph nodes, headaches and nausea.
Police are investigating.
