ROYALS William, Harry and Kate are giving £ 2million to an online scheme to boost Britain’s mental health.

The grant from their c harity t he Roy a l Foundation will establish the initiative.

Prince William said: “We’ve got to somehow catch people in their daily life to bring them into the fold and give them the help they need.”

It is expected to be up and running by January.

The royals’ organisation Heads Together found young people are more l i kely t o use technology to have conversations about mental health.

The princes’ moves to lift the stigma of mental health has been working, a YouGov study of 14,000 people seemed to show.

It found in February 45 per cent of men and 52 per cent of women discussed their mental health. By May it was 60 and 61 per cent.

William questioned how people who have been in care or had bad experiences at young ages could be reached.

Heads Together will pay special attention to men, the workplace and the military in the

near future.
