Cowell gift to ill lad,4
SIMON Cowell has pledged £50,000 to help a boy of four have treatment in the US for a rare form of childhood leukaemia.
The X Factor mogul is also urging his fans to give to Zac Oliver for therapy unavailable on the NHS.
The family of Zac, of Broseley, Shrops, need to raise £500,000 for CAR-T therapy, which changes immune cells, in Philadelphia.
Cowell’s gift is expected to lift the figure raised to more than £400,000.
The music mogul’s donation came ahead of today’s Zacfest, a charity fundraiser at Telford Town Park, for the little lad with near haploid leukaemia.
Zac’s mum Hannah Oliver-willets, said: “Thank you to Simon Cowell for doing such an amazing job at supporting our cause.”
