Sarah killer is on mend
CHILD killer Roy Whiting was out of hospital yesterday after suffering stab wounds in prison.
Whiting, 59, who was found guilty in 2001 of murdering Sarah Payne, eight, was allegedly attacked by two convicted killers.
It is believed he spent one night in hospital after Thursday’s attack at HMP Wakefield, West Yorks.
The Ministry of Justice said: “The prisoner is back in prison in a stable condition... the incident is being investigated by police.”
