Saudis get ‘kill tapes’
GRIM recordings of the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi have been given to his home country and Britain by Turkey.
Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan said yesterday audio from inside Saudi Arabia’s Istanbul consulate was also handed to the US, Germany and France.
He added that the Saudis know the murderer was in a 15-strong group of people who arrived in Turkey a day before the killing. The body of Mr Khashoggi, 59, who vanished on October 2, has not been found.
