Gwyneth Paltrow started it all (obvs) when she posted pho­tos of her per­fect pantry on her web­site Goop.

It was a foodie’s dream – rows of jars with quinoa and mac­ro­bi­otic good­ies.

But now so­cial me­dia is awash with pho­tos of colour co-or­di­nated cup­boards that look like art­works. They call it pantry porn. Well, no one is go­ing to get larder lust by ogling my sag­ging shelves.

Un­less they have a fetish for tinned pears, Quaker Oats and mucky bot­tles of sauce.
