BELTING out a tune can help Parkin­son’s pa­tients.

Singing some Elvis or Dame Vera Lynn can re­duce heart rate, blood pressure and re­duce neu­ro­log­i­cal symp­toms such as fin­ger tap­ping, re­searchers say.

Iowa State Univer­sity sci­en­tists claim the find­ings show ther­a­peu­tic singing could be a more af­ford­able treat­ment for those with the devastating brain con­di­tion.
