Faults On Both Sides
I read Mrs B.M.T.’S letter about the NHS and cancelled appointments with interest.
I work in outpatients in the NHS, and I have to agree with her that missed appointments, though costly, are not always the fault of the patient.
Appointment letters are sometimes not received in the post. I have just missed an appointment in another hospital myself because I didn’t receive the appointment letter in time. I can see the argument from both sides now!
