STAFF at a city recruitment firm are lacing up their running shoes to get in training for the Great Eastern Run.

Five workers at Brook Street Employment Agency, in Westgate, Peterborough, will run in the October 10 race in aid of city charity the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

Michaela Chantrell, Amy Jayne Elvestad, Amy McKeogh, Gemma Goward and Laura Edwards will be tackling the 13.1 mile run.

The employment agency joins runners from Peterborough.Net and the city’s Passport Office who are already on board to run for ASBAH.

Michaela Chantrell, branch manager, said: “We are really excited to be able to support ASBAH and feel privileged to take part in the run.”

ASBAH is still looking for runners. The charity will pay the entry fee and supply a T-shirt or vest, sponsor forms and information on fundraising. Contact 01733 421328 or email ianm@ asbah.org.
