Learn about justice at city event
PEOPLE can learn more about the criminal justice system at an event in the city on Saturday.
The Justice Journey event, at KingsGate Conference Centre in Staplee Way, Parnwell, will run from 9.30am to 2pm.
Organised by the SaferPeterborough partnership, the event will offer information about how the partnership is focusing on anti-social behaviour and supporting victims, as well as letting people know about what happens to offenders when they enter the criminal justice system and what punishments are available to the courts.
Michelle Bernasconi, of the Victims Advisory Panel, will launch the event by detailing her personal experiences of being a victim of antisocial behaviour.
People will be able to ask questions of police officers, representatives of the Crown Prosecution Service, magistrates and officer from the probation service.
