Res­i­dents urged to at­tend meet­ings

RES­I­DENTS are be­ing urged to make their voices heard dur­ing the next round of neigh­bour­hood coun­cil meet­ings.

Tonight marks the be­gin­ning of the fourth round of the meet­ings and will see in­di­vid­ual agen­das, tai­lored to the needs of the spe­cific coun­cil ar­eas.

Leader of Peter­bor­ough City Coun­cil, Councillor Marco Cer- este, said: “Neigh­bour­hood coun­cils are be­com­ing es­tab­lished and they pro­vide a great op­por­tu­nity for peo­ple to get in­volved in their lo­cal com­mu­nity.”

Dogsthorpe, East and Park neigh­bour­hood coun­cil will meet at the Mil­len­nium Cen­tre, Dick­ens Street, tonight at 7pm.

Cen­tral and North neigh­bour­hood coun­cil will meet at the Town Hall, in Bridge Street, at 7pm to­mor­row.

Res­i­dents in Flet­ton, Stan­ground and Wood­ston neigh­bour­hood coun­cil will meet at Stan­ground Col­lege, in Peter­bor­ough Road, at 7pm on Thurs­day.
