“There’s been a really big boom in craft and sewing classes,” she said.
Lindsey is a firm believer that you don’t have to be a whizz with the sewing machine in order to get creative with your clothes.
“There are incredibly simple things you can do,” she said. “Most of the people who were on our Trashion Show course had never used a sewing machine, were completely new to sewing and they’ve made whole outfits including accessories.”
Peterborough College of Adult Education will be giving re-fashioning tips in Queensgate tomorrow from 10am. The first Trashion catwalk show is at 3pm and the second at 6pm.
