Ambulance trust has new director
EAST of England Ambulance Service has a new director.
Colin Woodcock has been appointed non-executive director of the board of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, which covers Peterborough.
Mr Woodcock (43), from Norwich, has a proven track record in innovation and marketing and has served at director level within companies such as Capita and Prudential UK.
He said: “The East of England Ambulance Service already has earned itself a fantastic reputation and I’m hoping to help build upon that as the trust continues to develop in new ways.
“There is a lot to learn. I’m particularly looking forward to going out with an ambulance crew to find out what it’s really like working out on the roads and also to get ideas from them on how we can continue to improve our services to the public.”
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust was established on July 1, 2006.
It provides ambulance and associated transport services as well as community health services across six counties: Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
