Coach trip to see picturesque palace
BOOKINGS are now being taken for a coach trip to the picturesque park and gardens of Blenheim Palace this month. Situated in Woodstock, just eight miles outside Oxford, the palace is known for being the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and is set in 2,100 acres of beautiful parkland. Set pick-up points, on June 20, are 9am at Thorney, then onto Whittlesey, Stanground and the Peterborough Key Theatre. The coach leaves for home at 5pm. Tickets cost £22.50, and this includes coach fare and admission to the palace, park and gardens.
