Coach trip to see pic­turesque palace

BOOK­INGS are now be­ing taken for a coach trip to the pic­turesque park and gar­dens of Blen­heim Palace this month. Sit­u­ated in Wood­stock, just eight miles out­side Ox­ford, the palace is known for be­ing the birthplace of Sir Win­ston Churchill and is set in 2,100 acres of beau­ti­ful park­land. Set pick-up points, on June 20, are 9am at Thor­ney, then onto Whit­tle­sey, Stan­ground and the Peter­bor­ough Key The­atre. The coach leaves for home at 5pm. Tick­ets cost £22.50, and this in­cludes coach fare and ad­mis­sion to the palace, park and gar­dens.
