Get your team to­gether for hu­man ta­ble foot­ball event

TA­BLE foot­ball fans will be bring­ing the game to life at an un­usual event in a Hunt­ing­don pub.

A “hu­man ta­ble foot­ball” event will be held at the Lord Pro­tec­tor pub, in May­field Road, on June 20 in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund for Can­cer Re­search UK.

The event starts at mid­day and in­volves 32 teams. The dead­line for en­tries is Satur­day.

Peo­ple can en­ter in teams of seven and en­try costs £5 per player. There needs to be five play­ers and two sub­sti­tutes, Teams can be all male, fe­male or a mix of gen­ders and ages. Games will last five min­utes each way there will be a free BBQ for teams, as well as bouncy cas­tles, a plunge pool, live mu­sic and fancy dress, Con­tact or­gan­is­ers on 01480 454720 to take part.
