PETERBOROUGH-BASED Van Hage has been nominated as a finalist in this year’s greetings card retail awards, The Retas.

Van Hage, situated at the heart of Peterborough Garden Park, is up against four rivals in the Best Garden Centre Retailer of Greetings Cards category.

The winner will be revealed at a glittering awards event on a Butterfly Ball theme at London’s Dorchester Hotel next month.

Gift buyer at Van Hage Kerrie Jeynes said: “It is a great honour to be nominated for this award, which is a reflection of the hard work and inspiration that has gone into our Peterborough store.

“We are proud to stock a vast selection of greetings cards for all occasions, and look forward with anticipation to the ceremony in July.”

The Retas awards recognise excellence across the whole retail spectrum, from independents on the High streets, to the mini chains, and include national multiples, garden centres, department stores and supermarkets.
