Local legend to be Bourne boss again

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Sport -

FOOTBALL: Local legend Darren Munton has been named as Bourne Town manager for a second time.

Munton steps into the void left by the resignation of Martyn Lakin which followed the Wakes’ demotion to Division One of the United Counties League due to them not meeting the required ground criteria.

Munton helped Bourne win the UCL Premier Division title as a player back in 1991.

His previous spell as first-team boss came between 2002 and 2004.

Munton has spent the last two years as the club’s reserve team player-boss.
