Mystery of Romany caravan
TODAY I have chosen two pictures which feature children from Peterborough’s past.
There must be around 50 youngsters surrounding a beautiful old gypsy caravan. I wonder why they were there?
Perhaps it was part of a school trip, or maybe it was close to their school? Many of the boys in the second photo seem to be wearing scarves and toggles around their necks. Were they part of a scouting group, the leader appears in be in the middle of the back row.
