Net Support puts focus on continuity
LOCAL business leaders and business continuity planners gathered at Net Support’s Market Deeping HQ for a recent open day which focused on making business continuity and BS25999 work for you.
Net Support is one of the region’s leading providers of business continuity, a fact confirmed by the company’s recent nomination for Specialist Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Supplier of the Year at the National Business Continuity Awards, and is well qualified to advise businesses on the need for effective business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
The aim of the day was to provide delegates with an overview of business continuity and how the British Standard BS25999 can improve their business processes.
After opening presentations by Net Support’s Ravi Pathak and David Gregory and Nick Lee from risk management partners BGG and CWL respectively, delegates were split into groups for a practical exercise where they were able to apply some of their learning into their own context.
The day concluded with a tour of Net Support’s recently extended disaster recovery facility.
After a successful day, Ravi said; “Business continuity and disaster recovery planning is high on the agenda for many businesses, so it was good to be able to bring the subject into sharp focus for those who attended.”
Chris Banks, from Bluestone Creative Ltd, said; “The facilities at Net Support are wonderful and it was great to be able to see them. The whole day was very informative and well worth the time.”
Net Support is planning further open days throughout 2010. To register your interest, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
