Pupils show who’s got the tal­ent

PUPILS put their skills to the test as they showed who has re­ally got the tal­ent at their school.

Stan­ground St John’s Got Tal­ent was hosted last week as part of school-wide com­pe­ti­tion to find the next star of stage or screen.

Af­ter a se­ries of ex­cit­ing heats fea­tur­ing a range of dif­fer­ent acts, the com­pe­ti­tion at St John’s Pri­mary School, was whit­tled down to the win­ners.

Te­meka Aquilina-Evans and Mad­di­son Brigham came out on top to take home the cov­eted tro­phy.

School gover­nor Karen Quinn said: “The event was open to all the chil­dren at the school.

“They had a very en­joy­able time and the win­ners and out­stand­ing chil­dren got to do per­for­mances dur­ing a school assem­bly.”
