CREWE chief scout Neil Baker believes Posh centre-back Exodus Geohaghon would be a great signing for The Railwaymen.

The League Two club have been given permis- sion to speak to Geohaghon after Posh agreed to sell him for a small fee.

Baker said: “Exodus is a player we should be looking to attract to Crewe.

“It was a big step for him to go into the Cham- pionship and he found it difficult, but he’d definitely be a very good signing for us.”

Geohaghon made 16 starting appearances for Posh following his move from Kettering last No- vember, but was placed on the transfer list by new Posh boss Gary Johnson at the end of last season.

The 25 year-old is only six months into a threeand-a-half year contract at London Road.

EXCITED: Charlie Lee can’t wait for the new season to start.
