Mu­sic boost for char­ity

PAR­ENTS who held a con­cert in aid of a char­ity which helped them when their son un­der­went surgery have raised thou­sands of pounds. Lewis and Natalie Slack now have a to­tal of £4,661 af­ter the con­cert in May, and have also re­ceived a £1,000 do­na­tion from Fen­land Archery Club. Lit­tle Harry Slack had life-sav­ing open heart surgery at 13 weeks. His par­ents, of No­bles Close, Coates, are sup­port­ing the Sick Chil­dren’s Trust’s Rain­bow House prop­erty, which pro­vides relatives with ac­com­mo­da­tion.
