Business acumen proves useful
A PAIR of conscientious college students have been using their burgeoning business skills for a good cause.
Niomi Nagrecha (17) and Shabana Latif (18), who are studying their BTEC National in Business at Peterborough Regional College, were one of a number of groups of business students challenged to run fun- draising events.
The pair were given the task of planning, marketing and running a raffle in the student common room, raising £86.87 for their chosen charity, Deafblind UK.
Business lecturer Erica Simms said: “I am really pleased with all the groups, they have really taken to these projects and their efforts show.”
