Promotions at Greenwoods a cause for celebration
PETERBOROUGH legal firm Greenwoods Solicitors LLP is celebrating the fact than a number of employees have gained promotions and qualifications.
Adele Whaley became an associate in the commercial dispute resolution team. Adele has experience dealing with complex litigation, commercial disputes in relation to contracts, negligence claims, insolvency, defective goods and defamation. She is ever mindful of the commercial considerations and pressures faced by clients and is credited for her ability to provide straightforward advice on complicated matters.
Michelle Cox has been promoted to senior solicitor. Michelle is well known for her practical approach to resolving clients’ property disputes. In addition to advising commercial landlords and tenants, she also works closely with local authorities and registered social landlords helping them to resolve a range of housing law matters.
Kerry Keen-Robertson, promoted to senior executive in Greenwoods’ residential property department, deals with a wide range of property transactions for both private individuals and companies. Kerry’s expertise includes house sales and purchases, mortgages, remortgages, overage agreements, conditional contracts and transfers of equity.
Katrina Baker joined the firm as a trainee before qualifying as a solicitor into Greenwoods’ construction and commercial property teams. Katrina’s interest in the intersection where traditional “construction law” meets “development law” has helped her to seamlessly settle into working within both departments.
Robert Dillarstone, managing director at Greenwoods, said: “In a difficult year for all businesses, it is a great achievement to advance in your chosen career I am therefore delighted at how well Adele, Michelle, Kerry and Katrina have done to take the next step up in their profession.” CAREER ADVANCEMENT: From left, senior executive Kerry KeenRobertson, associate Adele Whaley, managing director Robert Dillarstone, solicitor Katrina Baker and senior solicitor and Michelle Cox.
