Q: Do you think it’s right that some civil servants should earn more than the Prime Minister? A: No I don’t. Civil servants have far too many perks plus high salaries because of their socalled high positions they hold within the government. Their jobs are to work for the people of Great Britain not for us to work for them, Q: Do you believe David Laws should have resigned as number two at the Treasury over his expenses claim? A: Yes, the same rules applies to MPs (or it should do.!!) that apply to us. You break the rules, you have to take the consequences of your actions. Q: Do you have any sympathy with Sarah Ferguson over trying to get money for introducing people to Prince Andrew? A: No, I think she would sell the Queen’s jewellery given the chance. She is after anything she can get, plus has ruined the good reputation of our monarchy. Q: Do you agree with Peterborough’s MP who says plans for some of the city’s major housing developments should be cancelled? A: Houses that are currently being built are not selling, why build more? Let the market catch up, then start building again. At the moment prices are okay, but build too many and prices will fall. People have borrowed far too much money which is one of the reasons why, as a nation, we are in the trouble we are in today.
