Juke set to win fans
SMITHS Nissan, of Sturrock Way, Peterborough, is one of the first dealerships in the country to receive a sneak preview of the new Juke.
A one third scale model of the new car, will be delivered to the dealership next week, giving customers a taste of what is to come before sales start in September.
The display will feature a touch screen information centre where customers can find out more about this new compact crossover.
Part rugged SUV, part funky sports car, Juke is a ground-breaking compact crossover providing buyers with a stylish alternative to the conventional urban hatchback.
British built, the Juke brings exciting advancements in engine technology, cabin design and turbocharged efficiency.
It is a distinctive combination of SUV toughness and sporting style, with prices starting at £12,795.
“We’re thrilled to be one of the first UK dealers to get a sneak preview of the new Juke,” said Paul Charman, general manager at Smiths Nissan. “The model display is a novel way of allowing prospective customers to get a real feel for what is a fresh, cheeky and energetic new crossover.”
Available in three engine sizes: 115bhp 1.6 petrol, 187bhp 1.6 petrol turbo and 109bhp 1.5 diesel and nine colours, the Juke boasts a distinctive body, raised ride height and the option of four-wheel drive with torque vectoring.
Inside, the striking centre console is inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank finished in high gloss with large twin chrome-ringed dials marking out the instrument binnacle, while the facia also features colour displays for the ventilation system.
With seating for five and a rear bench that splits and folds flat, plus a hatchback boot with hidden storage space, the Juke is both roomy and practical.
