School gripped by World Cup fever

As part of the week, the chil­dren worked on var­i­ous artis­tic projects in­clud­ing cre­at­ing a huge St Ge­orge’s Cross made up us­ing the chil­dren’s foot­prints which 15 Year Six pupils pre­sented at the Of­fi­cial World Cup Launch Party held by FIFA in London last week.

They also made a film about the school and their work and held a bring and buy sale to pay for 12 foot­balls which they plan to send to the As­tra School, their part­ner school in South Africa.
