Local market passes inspection
HUNTINGDON farmers’ market has once again passed an inspection process to remain accredited by the National Farmers’ Retail and Market Association (FARMA).
The award assures customers of an honest, fair and well-managed farmers’ market.
All produce is sourced from within a 30-mile radius of Huntingdon, going up to 50 miles for products that cannot be sourced more locally. Every item sold must contain local ingredients.
Fresh, high-quality, seasonal produce can be found at the farmers’ market, such as vegetables, fruit, poultry, venison, eggs, cut flowers, bread, meat and fish, cakes, chilli sauces and local award winning jams, chutneys and relishes.
