All the big matches on Tap
world cup fever builds, the Brewery Tap is ready and waiting to welcome Peterborough’s footie fans to watch the tournament.
The Tap will be showing live coverage of the World Cup tournament on a 10 foot screen, which will be situated in the main venue.
The pub, which showcases awardwinning ales from local brewery Oakham Ales, is no stranger to showing live events, as it regularly welcomes Peterborough’s sporting public to enjoy live coverage.
Manager Jessica Loock said: “We recall the last World Cup and the atmosphere in the pub was electric. We hope that we can recreate the same this time around, and hope that we see our national team in the final.
“Entry to the venue during the world cup will be free, so we invite members of the public to arrive in good time on match days to avoid disappointment.”
The Tap is also the place to go for pub grub with a difference, as it is well-known locally for its authentic Thai cuisine.
Food will be served food throughout the World Cup, and food service hours will be extended to all day on Wednesday, June 23, as England take on Slovenia at 3pm.
A special World Cup meal deal will be available on all match days from tomorrow to Sunday, July 11. This will be the chance to enjoy a succulent Thai burger with Thai fries and a pint of one of the following Oakham brews – JHB, Inferno, White Dwarf or Bishops Farewell – for a special price.
Any customers wishing to make a reservation to dine at the venue can do so by calling 01733 358500.
